Meet The Shareholders

Alan Allred, CPA
Alan is the founding shareholder of Allred Jackson, PC and the firm’s senior shareholder. Alan was born in Preston, Idaho and grew up in Logan, Utah. He received all of his schooling in the Logan, Utah school system and then graduated from Utah State University in 1976, with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting. Later that year, Alan joined H. Sherwood & Company, a CPA firm in American Fork, Utah and worked in tax and governmental audit for the next five years. In 1981, he had the chance to return to Logan, Utah where he became a principal in his own CPA practice, which eventually became the firm of Allred Jackson. Alan has a variety of experience, including significant governmental and non-profit audit experience, compilations and reviews of many retail businesses, preparation of many individual and business tax returns, serving as team captain on peer reviews of other CPA firms, consultation in a variety of tax and accounting areas, eight years on the Logan City Council, and a variety of volunteer service for governmental, non-profit, and charitable organizations. He has received recognition from professional organizations for his service and awards from the Cache Chamber of Commerce for his accomplishments throughout his years of practice.

Alan has been married to his wife, Lora, for thirty-seven years and they have a son and two daughters, with two grandchildren. Alan has been involved in and will always be an intense sports participant and fan, with a passion for weightlifting and working out. In the last several years he has also developed a taste for travel, driving as often as he can, to New York and California (under the pretense that it relaxes him). Kelly is the office managing shareholder for the firm’s American Fork office. His expertise is with corporate, partnership and individual income tax compliance and planning. Kelly also performs operational consulting work for small and medium size business. Kelly received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1996 from Utah State University and a Master of Accounting degree in 2000 from Weber State University. He worked for Associated Food Stores and Deloitte in Salt Lake City, Utah prior to joining Allred Jackson in Sept of 2004. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants and is licensed to practice in Utah.
Kelly enjoys the outdoors, including activities such as hunting, fishing, hiking, basketball, soccer, football and baseball. He spends most of his free time coaching his 4 kids in various sports. Kelly can be reached at KWilson@allredjackson.com.
